I have no idea what a torrent is - or anything - so bare with me.

Might anyone be able to help me out?

I'm on a huge audiobook kick - and can't seem to find Stephen King's Desperation as an audiobook anywhere but here.

It says "Download this torrent!" Is that seriously just a file that is the Desperation audiobook? Is it safe to download that Vuze program mentioned right below?


Also - Stephen King audiobooks [even used CD's/Audible/whatever] are so damned expensive. Any suggestions for other places to get his audiobooks?

So after missing work Wednesday thanks to my ER visit and Thursday thanks to some residual gross-feeling-ness and a bad migraine, I managed to make it through the day on Friday, making it a 24-hour week.

Of course, by the middle of the day Friday I was feeling crappy in an entirely different way than Tuesday night's stomach disaster and Thursday's migraine. Because it's the first week of November, which means I have to get a cold. I thought maybe I'd escape it this year; when I'm in school, I get wicked burned out the last week of October, and I was hoping the cold was a result of that. But no.

Because all the pictures of Kevin with ladies' shoes in Milan made me so happy, ( have 600 words of Kevin-is-a-crossdresser fic )

Just watched this week's episode, and maaaaaan, I sure do love me some Supernatural! I simply worship their stupid sense of humor: not many tv series can get me laughing out loud within the first minute of the episode! The only other thing I can think of was Stargate SG-1, if the episode happened to start with one of Jack's wisecracks :D

Too bad there probably won't be any more episodes with the trickster (what? I didn't spoil anything. This comment could mean anything!), the episodes that had him in it were some of the best ever.

Anyway, made a shiny new icon, which I already added to my current userpics, but which is still up for grabs for everyone. I don't mind seeing it both in my own journal and on my f-list :)



I wanted to make some more animated ones, but I got kinda stuck because of all the LJ restrictions (max 100px, max 40kb,... bah!), and in the end I got distracted by the ones the fabulous mata090680 already made over at her journal (which is were I nicked the ginormous sandwich one). Maybe I'll give iconising this episode another go some other time, because it's definitely a great source of material! :D
